One of the focuses of this year will be NYRR. This year I will hopefully complete the New York Road Runners 1/2 Marathon Grand Prix (all 5), the NYC Half-Marathon and the NYC Marathon. You can get information about this from NYRR.org or you can use this local page instead.
Sneak Peak: Very Exciting stuff. Season just started and I am already thinking about next year and next season. This year I will be adding a few century rides (100 miles). Why punish myself? I would like to experiment with that distance to see what it feels like and to also see how I react to it and what's the worst case scenerio time wise. This is all in preperation for next year. Next year, I got Disney's Goofy Challenge and hopefully an Iron distance race. This year's experimenting with the century rides will yield a trimmed version of next years schedule. A lot less races and more training rides/runs that will hopefully culiminate in the IM. More Centuries next year and tougher swim training and training in general. Stay tuned! The IM and Goofy are so far away and yet things are moving and progressing and stressing. Use the following links to see what's going on. Eventually, they will be the "thoughts" page for each. Goofy comes first then the IM.
