Jeremy now has a page of his own too. This is one way to reach me. Here is a dumping ground of links to races that I am interested in doing. I also wrote a calendar program that seems to work nicely. Always shows 3 panes: previous month, current month and next month.

Last year was a success. I met all my goals: Goofy went well. I PR'ed in the Marathon distance at the L.I. Marathon and PR'ed in the Half-Marathon Distance at the Princess Half-Marathon. I ran my first 50K race (Greenbelt 50K) 6 days after PR-ing at L.I. and consequently joined Marathon Maniacs which I didn't plan on. Disney's Coast 2 Coast challenge went through as well. Didn't get to do their new Wine-n-Dine race and that will have to wait. The Ironman went through as well and even tho I didn't do as well as I wanted, I finished! I also did an impromptu Fat Ass Christmas Trail Marathon while being undertrained. In the 5K distance, I came close to my PR time and that felt great too. I completed 5 Marathons(or longer) in 2010 which started 9 weeks after doing NYC Marathon. As far as swimming goes, I qualified for the Liberty Island swim and that was great. Good thing too because the timing for it in 2011 sucks! Biking times and endurance have gotten better due to the pressure of the IM. I was hoping for this as a side benefit and it worked.

This years schedule is very diverse. I would like to do a "Vertical Race" or a stair climbing race. It will make me stronger. I also want to do another IM and 3 or more Marathons or a longer distance. Training for the IM swim taught me that I can swim distance ; Maybe not fast but certainly far. Since that's the case, I want to try some longer *gulp* swims too. Here's a shortened version of the goals.
